Sound therapy works using different sounds to enhance the person’s well-being at all levels: physical, mental, spiritual and emotional sound bath training. Thanks to it, we can improve many aspects on an emotional, cognitive and psychological level.
Sound vibrations are converted into electrical waves that enter through the ear and travel along the auditory nerve to the auditory cortex: the area of the brain responsible for processing sound. Once in the brain it is interpreted. This is when it releases dopamine and oxytocin, natural painkillers in our body. Dopamine is responsible for regulating motivation and feeling pleasure; and oxytocin is a compound that helps us have confidence and develop emotional relationships.
